Over the summer, Neuron supported the Manchester team of DJs, artists, designers and promotors who were involved in the City Hack competition hosted by Desperados and UKF. Three teams were involved from Manchester, London and Bristol. Our project managers worked closely with the experiential marketing agency, RPM, to deliver the project. The Manchester team consisted of DJ Silver, one third of North Base; James Galloway, promoter and Grand Theft Audio record label owner; Leo Eastland, graphic designer; and Adam Al Sened, visual artist and director of dLo Media.
Each team had to take part in four challenges, with Neuron being involved in challenge two and three - Hack the City and Hack the Space. On both occasions, we deployed a full production package, utilising our Void Air Motion system, lighting package with LED screens, and even a modified Land Rover as a stage.
Luckily, if you didn't manage to make it down to the events, or simply want to relive the experience, there are some rather well-produced videos available on YouTube.
