Outlook & Dimensions Festivals
Since 2011, Neuron have been tasked with providing audio production for multiple stages and boats used for daytime parties out at sea.
In 2012, for the ‘Outside the Fort’ stage we deployed a brand new, one of a kind touring Void Incubus system with a central bass fill of Void Stasys X subs to counter potential power alley due to the wide stage platform. Monitoring was provided via Void Stasys 4 and Impulse 4t cabinets, located on rolling risers and along the front of the stage respectively. This system proved so popular that in subsequent years, the stage was renamed to 'The Void' in it's honour.
The ‘Courtyard’ played host to 8 of our custom 18″ long horn Void Psyco Subs, with 4 Void Arcline X double 15″ on upper bass duty and a pair of the exceptional Void Air Motion v2 sculpted horn speakers running from 132Hz upwards.
‘Noah’s Ballroom’ is amply covered by just two Stasys 218 double 18" reflex subs and a pair of Air Motion v2, minimising the impact on crowd capacity in this incredibly intimate, one-of-a-kind venue.
We deployed new Void Stasys 218 in ‘The Dungeon’, with another pair of Arcline 6 located on platforms. These were chosen for their wide dispersion, which is needed to cover the curved tunnel that has a broad fluctuation in audience numbers across the weekend.
Each of the boat parties featured a pair of Void Trinity X single 21″ ported horn bass cabinets with a large format reflex-loaded Stasys Phil strapped securely on top.
We have also provided a fleet of over 100 individual pieces of DJ equipment to cover the festival's demanding backline requirements. Pioneer Nexus series CDJs and DJM mixers, with Technics venerable 1210 turntable and Allen & Heath Xone series mixers plus specialist rotary mixers and other equipment are supplied, with on-site repairs and maintenance conducted to ensure the equipment continues to work in the dusty, hot environment.
